Digweed in Germany!!! - 25.05.2005 - Butan Club (Wuppertal)

I just got official word last week that the man will finally be making his first club appearance in Germany! The date is May 25 (Wednesday - the next day is a holiday) and it will be at the Butan Club in Wuppertal (~45 minutes from K?ln).

Full information should be available later this week - I'll post it here.

Wow, than there are 2 mayor progressive dj's in Germany that day. Same day Sasha plays @ Tribehouse. Any chance on a back 2 back in 1 of the 2 venues??

Sasha date is cancelled ... With Digweed at Butan, Coxy at 3001 and Sasha at Tribehouse that would be to much ... all the clubs are in a area of maybe 60km.

I hope Sasha is getting a new Date at Tribehouse or anywhere else in nrw

Really ... nice Steve Gerrad is a amazing dj ... it's pretty nice these days in nrw with good parties and dj's ... and it's getting better and better, finally the people over here realise how good this sound is and bookers are no more afraid of booking big guys like digger

Definitely.

I've been to the Butan twice and both times were absolutely brilliant. The sound system was top-notch and the club itself is damn nice. It has 4 dancefloors - the big main floor, 2 large "side rooms" (one looking out over the main floor) and a smaller basement floor. There are a few pictures on their website. I'm not sure how many dancefloors they will have open for the Digweed show, but I am guessing all 4 (they are expecting a large crowd since the next day is a holiday). I think it probably holds around 1200-1500 people at capacity.

The crowd both times I was there was also really nice and likes to party late. Each time, we left the club the following afternoon, and the party still wasn't close to finished. :wink: The weather should be pretty nice by May, and there is also a large outside area to hang out.
