Damn you're fucked then! I'm so glad I couldn't buy them just yet, since now i'll be saving up for the new ones for sure.
@ Groffhibbitz: the info is all there as far as i'm concerned, but for you:
They
- Can now play MP3 audio (constant bitrate and variable bitrate)
- Have improved jogwheels (the one on the CDJ-1000 has adjustable resistance)
- Have new displays
- A new paint job for the CDJ 800
- The jogwheel center display has been brought up so you see it better
....and then some small thingies..

yes forgot to mention they were MK1's...but now with the MKII's hitting the market, the 1's should drop down in price.
I think WAVE display is on the MKIII, but need a SD card as well...
MKII's seem to start around $699 at the moment...

the mk3's are a bit nicer, bot for most dj's you don't need anything more than a mk2.

I had to make a decision a while ago. Sell my DJM-600 and get a new DJM-800 or sell my two CDJ-1000MKIIs and get the CDJ-1000MKIIs. Although the new features are really cool on the MKIIIs, they would be more of a ?if I was buying new? features would prompt me to get them. I decided to go with the DJM-800, which really makes a difference (more bang for your buck). The only feature I really see with the MKIIIs that I would like to have is the increased screen resolution. The DJM-800 is a pretty revolutionary update. The effects are really useful, there are the usual assignable effects and there are the new sound coloring effects. The mixer itself sounds much better than the previous version. If I were to recommend spending money on anything it would be to go with the new DJM-800. Just my opinion though.
Anyone get a hold of the rotary knobs for the DJM-800 yet? I have mine on order but apparently they are not available yet.
Here is a great demo video of James Zabiela using the DJM-800

I think I will stick with my pair of 800 MK1s until I get enough cash to tempt me to spend money worthlessly.
