View Full Version : An overdue "thank you"

I know I should post this in the Webhosting forum, but before someone moves it over there, I wanted more people to read this.;)

This is just a "thank you" note to Kamal, Mike and MJWebhosting for providing an excellent service with great prices, all the while being thoroughly nice guys.8)

I wanna thank Kamal especially, who offered to help me set up my site, step-by-step, since I didn?t know the 1st thing about building and maintaining a website.

I?m a stubborn bastard however, so I went and did it all by myself, because I really didn?t want to be a bother or waste anyone?s time, but the fact that Kamal was willing to go throught it with me should tell what excellent service these guys provide.

I hope that didn?t sound too much like one of those "testimonials" for TVShop, but I had to write this

I have my company website hosted with mjwebhosting as well. I basically knew nothing about web hosting, and kamal really helped me out and walked me through the process. Top notch, highly recommended.

Cheers to palmer for designing my website too.

That´s a thread loop! Your pic says "as presented to Vasco da Gama" who was a portuguese navigator.

BTW, wouldn´t it be cool to have a directory of member sites, especifically those hosted by MJWebHosting?

you can start a thread in the MJW forum posting your site in there and hope the others will follow suit :)

I end up hosting my website in MS previous hosting provider (3dx) taking advantage of a special plan they had for MS members. Is MJWebhosting comparable? How easy would it be to transfer my site to MJWebhosting? I'm rather spend my money among the family...

^^^ just a matter of repointing your current url to the new space at MJW.

MJwebhosting is definitely comparable, no Q about it. If you ask me, I'd say we're even better, considering the amount of time I spend here and now that there's also a support forum for MJW on here, you can get even more instant support.

As for transferring your site, its very easy, in fact I'll make it easier for you. Just let me know when you're ready to migrate and I'll import your whole site for you for free. Database, website, images, the works. The ONLY thing that needs to be done is update the nameservers (which I can do for you as well if you give me the login info to the place you bought your domain name) and bingo in as little as 6 hours, you could be moved over.

Let me know if you have more Qs 8)

Kamal has done the same for me. I hosted my site earlier this week with MJwebhosting and Kamal was a very very big help, and very patient. MJwebhosting is a great service. Thanks.
