Sapere Aude , hosted every fourth Sunday of the month by Michael McLean, highlights upcoming tracks while showcasing guest DJs from around the globe. The program focuses on exposing quality underground electronic music while amalgamating the old with the new. It will provoke you. It will dare you to go beyond what you think you already know? Sapere Aude blurs the boundaries between ambient, deep house, breaks, electro and progressive, gradually traversing the chasm of the deep, dark, sexy and demure textures into the depths of driving, melodic, progressive layers.

This month's broadcast will feature...

1st Hour: Michael McLean
2nd Hour Guest Mix: Matthew Adams

Matthew Adams Biography:

Matthew Adams was born in 1984 in Bielefeld, Germany. Already at the age of 12 Matthew clearly developed an interest in all kinds of arts, particulary music and graphics. He soon took 3 years of guitar lessons while acquiring the basics of music at the same time. Just a year later, at an age of 13 Matt soon took care of buying DJ equipment. But since his interest in composing music grew and grew it was only a matter of time until he started investing in studio equipment. His first tracks appeared on Anjunabeats and MPFS Recordings, as well as on various mixing compilations from e.g. Ferry Corsten in 2004. However at the end of 2004 Matthew became fed up with the style of music he always thought he'd be keen on. After a longer break he rapidly changed his taste and interested in electronic music to a higher level, namley progressive house. However Matt is not focused on one particular genre. He is not only producing progressive tracks, but also rather experimental ones which are going more into the ambient direction. Ever since his taste was not fixed to electronic music only, Matthew is also producing and recording various rockbands, which however can be regarded as his "side-projects".
