Re: What are you listening to?

I listened to the whole of Sasha San Francisco yesterday, quite rare for me to have the time to listen to a double CD uninterrupted.

It’s still the absolute pinnacle for me. Two discs of...
  3. Re: Sasha presents Last Night On Earth | Show 050 (June 2019)

Was a good mix this, not quite as good as 049 though. First track is brilliant too.

Perhaps a welcome return to form for Sasha? Hope so.

And the SYML track his best remix? Not a chance!...

    Re: LNOE 049 @ Motion, Bristol 2019-05-11

I haven’t listened to a Sasha set in ages, and to be honest I thought I was probably done with his sets as they were very pedestrian imo. However I have had this on based on the good feedback and...

Re: John Digweed's new Live In: Output

Not a compilation I will return to that often if I'm honest, there were only about 7 tracks across the 6 discs that I thought were any good, and two of them are over 20 years old each!

    I really...

Looking forward to this, there have been some excellent releases in this series, although I was not a fan of Tokyo at all, very disappointed by that.

Re: Patrice Bäumel - Global Underground #42

I enjoyed Baumel's mix, especially CD1. CD2 had some moments but didnt stand out as much as CD1 for me.

Pleased to see it appear on Spotify (which I subscribe to). Wish a few more electronic CDs...

Re: Patrice Bäumel - Global Underground #42

Being an accountant, I would really love to know the monetary figures behind these releases. Income from sales, cost of sales, net profit etc.

I look at some CDs that are released and just cannot...

    Re: essential mix

I've made a point of checking out each EM so far this year. Quite a few that were not my style, so looking forward to seeing what Burridge can produce.

^Am I missing something here? I think you have got the wrong end of the stick. I have offered my opinion on this set. You have responded disagreeing with that opinion. I have then responded saying...
  16. Re: Resident 403 Xmas Special- 6 hrs set recorded live at Woodstock Bloemendaal- Part

Nope. I can’t. Downloaded a couple of metrodance shows, listened to the burning man set, and a couple of hours of this. All the same style imo.
  17. Re: Resident 403 Xmas Special- 6 hrs set recorded live at Woodstock Bloemendaal- Part

My pleasure! It’s why we are all different. I know you’re a massive Hernan fan Didi, but it’s just not for me. I stand by my comment on the music evolving though. I genuinely wouldn’t be able to tell...

Re: Patrice Bäumel - Global Underground #42

I will be buying. Have enjoyed his sets more often than not. His Balance mix was odd to say the least, but had some moments.

I also spent a great few days in Berlin recently and enjoyed it,...
  19. Re: Resident 403 Xmas Special- 6 hrs set recorded live at Woodstock Bloemendaal- Part

I managed to get to the 2 hour point before switching off. I think I’m probably done with Hernan sets now. I just do not enjoy this music. I think if you took a 10 minute sample of one of his sets...

  23. Re: La Fleur-BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix August 25, 2018

Lol put it down to age! In my 20s I used to be very active in the scene, would know DJs, tracklists, remixes etc. Now I don't know why I even bother looking at a tracklist - I never recognise a track...

    Re: Is mercuryserver shutting down?

I can only access it via Chrome. If I use Firefox I get a funny page with lines of code on it (when I log in). So can't see any threads, messages etc

However - it is fine through Chrome

Re: Max Cooper - Balance 030

^ I love Spotify - would not have bothered spending £14 on this if I saw it in a shop.

Have listened to so much new stuff on Spotify that I never would have tried out otherwise
