I've never heard of a wired one either. Thought earbuds are earbuds, stick it in your ear and thats the end of it....

I won't be back until next Tuesday, so if Get Carter is the correct answer, I would appreciate of someone else posts a new cap for me

Yeah earbuds can be bad because they seal off your earcanal.

But these sound so sweet when I cut the grass

i think you are thinking of earplugs? ear buds are what rbuffetta is speaking of. if you are concerned about your ears go see a ear doctor and get professional ear plugs. i dont have them, but have read up on it and its the way to go. regular earplugs are fine, but they tend to muffle the sound coming in. with professional plugs, they just reduce the db levels without losing sound quality. as far as ear damage is concerned, bad frequencies are worse than loud music. music at 80db with poor frequencies (shitty speakers giving out feedback) is worse that 95db with good sound quality. take care of those ears

i am thinking of going to an ear doctor to get them professionally cleaned and not using q-tips any more. i gather that they just push in the wax and then gets packed in there. so i wanted to get all that shit out and take proper care of them...

not too sure what you are on about, at first i thought you meant DJ'ing which means you would need monitors and headphones which was confusing me. but it seems as if you are performing a live show... in which you may want headphone such as these... (believe they are sure)
