Hooj Choons

After seeing pickles link in the p&r section to a hooj choons mix, i was filled with nostaglia for what was one of the best labels around back in the late 90's.

I'm was a little surprised to see that their site says "Hooj, coming April 2007" (http://www.hoojchoons.com/). i thought they went under for financial reasons. Are they making a comeback?

yeah they are.. althought i thought they were back already.. i heard they were coming back last year around october i think.. also i am not 100 percent sure but i think they are only going digital..

Reminds me of the great days of Oakenfold.

Hooj was great, before all the digitalness took over, I paid some top dollar for some (what was then) rare and hard to get Hooj records!

all hooj done was wait untill a record made it big on another label then signed it to them to make money, dont get me wrong i have a few records on hooj myself but they are nothing but money huntin shits
