Can't wait for this - currently playing the 4th May show which is awe inspiring !

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.

this track is absolutely massive...can't stop listening to it. would love an ID on it.
Martin is like good wine, just keeps getting better with age. He is definitely one of the few DJ's left that actually gets me excited to hear his sets cause they are always fresh, as oppose to the vast heaps of djs out there who keep playing the same stuff.

I Grieve
it was only one hour ago
it was all so different then
there’s nothing yet has really sunk in
looks like it always did
this flesh and bone
it’s just the way that you would tied in
now there’s no-one home
i grieve for you
you leave me
‘so hard to move on
still loving what’s gone
they say life carries on
carries on and on and on and on
the news that truly shocks is the empty empty page
while the final rattle rocks its empty empty cage
and i can’t handle this
i grieve for you
you leave me
let it out and move on
missing what’s gone
they say life carries on
they say life carries on and on and on
life carries on
in the people i meet
in everyone that’s out on the street
in all the dogs and cats
in the flies and rats
in the rot and the rust
in the ashes and the dust
life carries on and on and on and on
life carries on and on and on
it’s just the car that we ride in
a home we reside in
the face that we hide in
the way we are tied in
and life carries on and on and on and on
life carries on and on and on
did I dream this belief?
or did i believe this dream?
now i can find relief
i grieve

Right on. Agree with everything everyone has said, and I love the lyrics there Gatz, wow heavy words, and so poetic, really incredible.
You know, with all the rave over this guys sets, why do ppl keep 'thinking' the electro is the new wave of sound. Its not, and I think this proves over and over that progressive music will never die.
I found progressive music in my early years in 1981 when I learned of PINK FLOYD music. They had it before its time, and its still sought after and alive all these years later.
PROGRESSIVE WILL NEVER DIE, AND MARTIN IS THE KINGPEN OF PROGGY SOUND!!!
Re: Martin Garcia - Metrodance Journey - Jun 01, 2007
I wholeheartedly agree with you Rob. I cannot for the life of me understand this whole Electro movement. To me it is absolutely dull and uninspiring. And to listen to some of my favorite DJ's like John Digweed go in this direction is quite disheartening. I am no fan of Electro.
Prog forever...thank you Martin for keeping us going!
