    LOTR directors cut

    the extra hour is worth it. does a lot in dialougue that really stresses char relations. no spoilers from me though. but if ya liked the movie for the story, you will want to see this.

      The movie is too long and boring as it is without any extra scenes of Sam trying to sweet talk his way into Frodo's pants.

                      I've seen on the net that there is a special release box set that contains all three movies, complete and uncut, all extend versions. It seems to retail anywhere between $70 and $120. About 11 hours of movie all together.
                      Push the envelope, watch it bend.
