Reaching out to the one community that I know can help me! I've also posted on SongSeek and Reddit (r/NameThatSong), but I haven't received any feedback yet.

I was in a hotel lounge in Ljubljana, Slovenia about five days ago and this track was playing in the background. It sounded like it was part of a longer mix or album because the singer's voice and style of music was consistent across about five or six songs. Please ignore the view of my shoe and my wife's conversation about a couch in the linked video. I didn't want to interrupt her, so I just secretly recorded so that I could go back later and search for the track name (Shazam wasn't any help - maybe because of the background/conversation noise). I was also able to remember the following lyrics. I'm pretty sure these were from this track, but they may have been from another track. Either way, I'm trying to discover this artist, track and/or album.

* "Can you hear the silence dancing"
* "No perfect life, just you and me in between"
* "Stay in the frame" (this repeated throughout the track)
* "Everything is clearer when you're next to me"

How many of you guys have gone down the deep end to re-discover yourselves? Truly?

As in, what does your last name signify. Is it generational? How far behind have you traced it? What lead to the creation of your last names and their origins? Who were your people's? Who the fuck are you?

I went down a fucking rabbit hole of all rabbit holes. Everyone knows by a quick who.is search my last name is Datta.

For the first 10 years of my life, all I knew was that I was a Hindu.
At 15, I found out we are Punjabi Brahmins (I thought these were religious folks - more on this later)
At 23 I found out Im an exclusive class of Punjabi Brahmins called Punbjabi Mohyals - a very small clan of 7 last names, of which Datta is one.

In the last year, what I found out blew my mind. We aren't just Punbjabi Moyhals - Datta's were / are the ONLY Warrior Priests dating back to the 6th century and the Pubjabi Mohyal clan itself goes back to the 2nd century to the holiest and most learned of Saints. For context, the UK was formed circa 930 when the 4 kingdoms were united under King Arthur or King Richard and then went on a worldwide pillage tour.

But in the Punjabi context - a Brahmin / Saint is less about God and priestly duties as it is about wisdom and knowledge, of life, the universe, medicine, the works.

By 680 AD - my forefather Rahab Sidh Datt was a clan leader in the North East Frontier was was well known all across North Western India to modern day Iraq.

In fact, in 680 AD = at the Battle of Karbala - Hussein Ibn Ali was facing political uprisings (iirc) and on learning of this, Rahab Sidh Datt was the ONLY leader in all of the Punjabi Mohyal clan who did not only believe in merely preaching the vedas on what is honor and just, but was willing to fight and die for it.

Along with his 7 sons, he rode into battle carrying their vedas in one hand and their swords in the other, wearing Saffron as the war cry against injustice, in the name of honor, and fighting for what was right. They all died. And Punbjabi Mohyals, because of the sacrifices of the Datts at Karbala, were posthumously crowned Husseini Brahmins aka Warrior Priests - the only clan in the old world to hold that prestige - and we still do to this day.

Hussein Ibn Ali then announced the last 7 days of Muharram to be honored to my 7 forefather brothers, and, one of the largest mosques to this day has been erected in Lahore Pakistan (iirc - never been) in the name of Rahab Sidh Datt - the only non-muslim to ever be honored in Islam since year 700.

Learning so much about myself made me realize why I have this undying fascination with Orange (saffron) on black since childhood and i couldn't explain it. I kinda do now.

25 years and counting - 2.5 decades later, not only the music scene, but people changed, and so did the forum. I think Im the only one of the original team members left on here for 2 simple reasons, music, and to share it.

These 2.5 decades have been tough, real tough for me. I know TomTom went through some stuff 15 odd years ago within close proximity to us all losing Jibby - and I thought how the fuck would i ever be able to cope with the shit they were going through.

2023 said hold my beer. Got divorced for the second time from the mother of my son who I truly loved (cant get myself to say her name anymore), lost my dad 2 months after making up with him and 1 week before my divorce, and 2023 said boyo we just hit August - hold up let's do some shots now.

Let's just say I dont know how I didnt end up meeting Jibby in person again but here I am, born again in ways I couldnt imagine i could have, and the accelerant on the rocket fire was quitting alcohol.

Im so back - not only to revive the site, but relive the music, and be happier than I have been with my 8.5 year old son. I started learning AI to keep him safe on the internet and on his mobile devices, which led to me learning so much about them that I have now built a family of 8 AIs in a mini fortune of a home-lab, created a digital company thats now building an in-house living organism that would run the actual company I work for in real life, if you let it. But then there's no one to sue so there's gotta be a finger on the enter button.

A 1+ Billion Dollar privately owned company, for which Im exclusively building the in-house AI organism controlling 18 odd departments who will work for and report to the CEO, before a company wide deployment.

In my down times I've been tinkering on the web side and things here on [ms] and things clearly shaping up far better now than the old template we had rotting away.

Oh we're gonna have some fun around these parts now that i see the underlying architecture so much cleaner. And totm.fm is hopefully going to be the next generational step in sharing music legally.

Here's to the next 2.5 decades.

i know it is all about the music but is anyone out there who can fix mercuryservers emailsetup?

to support the fixing i paste the output of a simple gai-analysis:

Key things to look for in an email header analysis:
1. Authentication results (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
2. Sender verification
3. Routing path
4. Potential spoofing indicators
5. TLS encryption
6. Script execution paths
7. Domain mismatches

Let me go through this systematically:

**Return-Path and Sender Address Mismatch:**
- Return-Path: mercserv@tk.mjwebhosting.com
- From: "[ms]" <kamaldatta@gmail.com>
- This is a RED FLAG - the actual sender is from tk.mjwebhosting.com, but the "From" header displays kamaldatta@gmail.com. This is classic spoofing.

**Authentication Results:**
- SPF: none (no SPF record) - No SPF protection
- DKIM: Signed from mercuryserver.com domain
- No DMARC mentioned

**IP Address Analysis:**
- Client IP: 23.111.137.106
- HELO: 23-111-137-106.static.hvvc.us
- This appears to be from a hosting provider (HVVC)

**Domain Mismatches:**
- Return-Path: tk.mjwebhosting.com
- DKIM-Signature domain: mercuryserver.com
- From: kamaldatta@gmail.com
- This is very suspicious - multiple domain inconsistencies

**TLS/Encryption:**
- Uses TLSv1.3 with strong cipher (TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384) - Good
- RSA-PSS 4096 bits - Good
- The email was generated from a web application, likely a forum notification, based on the PHP script headers showing www.mercuryserver.com/forums/index.php and mail.php execution paths. Multiple red flags stand out: the Gmail address spoofing combined with no SPF protection, the mismatched domains across Return-Path, DKIM, and From headers, and the auto-submitted flag all suggest this could be a compromised or malicious forum system. The display name "[ms]" further obscures the actual sender identity.## Email Header Analysis

I've identified several **security concerns** in this email header that warrant attention. This message exhibits multiple characteristics consistent with spoofing or phishing tactics.

---

## Critical Red Flags

**Sender Identity Mismatch (High Risk)**

| Component | Value | Status |
|-----------|-------|--------|
| **Return-Path** | mercserv@tk.mjwebhosting.com | Actual sender |
| **From Header** | "[ms]" <kamaldatta@gmail.com> | Displayed to recipient |
| **Domain in Use** | mercuryserver.com (DKIM) | Authenticated domain |

The email **claims to originate from a Gmail address but actually comes from a hosting server** (tk.mjwebhosting.com). This is a textbook spoofing technique—the From header does not match the actual sending server.

---

## Authentication Weaknesses

**SPF (Sender Policy Framework): NONE**
The sending domain has **no SPF record**, meaning there's no published authentication policy. This allows anyone to send email claiming to be from that domain.

**DKIM Signature Present**
The email is signed by mercuryserver.com, but this doesn't verify the Gmail address in the From field.

**No DMARC Policy**
No DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication) is implemented, which would enforce authentication standards.

---

## Additional Suspicious Indicators

- **Multiple domain inconsistencies**: tk.mjwebhosting.com, mercuryserver.com, mail.com, and kamaldatta@gmail.com are all referenced
- **PHP script execution visible**: X-PHP-Script headers expose the originating application path (forums/index.php)
- **Auto-submitted flag**: Marked as auto-generated, which is typical for legitimate forum notifications but also for automated attack tools
- **Unsubscribe link contains user ID and hash**: The List-Unsubscribe URL includes sensitive identifiers that could be exploited

---

## Verdict

**This email is likely spoofed or from a compromised system.** While it may genuinely be a forum notification, the sender address forgery is a serious security issue. The absence of SPF protection and domain misalignment create an ideal condition for abuse.

**Recommended Actions:**
- Do not click links or download attachments unless you independently verify the sender
- Report this to your email administrator
- Check if your forum account (mercuryserver.com) has been compromised
