Very funny show, Almost to the point where i ordered HBO again for the set at home.....That would take a lot, but instead i use the on demand from cable at work to catch up. Highly recommended to all...

I remember downloading an episode years ago and thought it was pretty funny but I saw it on hbo the other night and thought it was hilarious. The reactions out of the people are priceless and some of the shit he says just kills me.

I like the one when he was interviewing Daryl Gates the former LAPD Chief of Police. For those who don't know he got alot of notority during the OJ Simpson case. Ali started asking him about OJ and then immediately starts asking him about Homer Simpson and murder. You mean he murdered Marge??? Daryl Gates started explaining to him very slowly "OJ Simpson and Homer Simpson is diiiiiifffeereeenntt. One iiisssss ccaarttoon. It's not real". He made Daryl look like a complete idiot because he thought he was serious.

It's been around for years in the UK - it is very funny, although I thought he took the whole thing too far in the end, he was at his best when he was on the 11 o'clock show interviewing people who had no idea it was a parody, once he became better known this became impossible!

unfortunaly the whole thing, like you said was reliant on the guests and people Ali G spoke to taking him seriously as a person. When really as we all know, Ali G was just taking the piss.

When everyone got to know him he found it harder to carry it on with the character, so he moved it to the states

agreed though, a propper classic!!
