With political philosophies and approach, I would say that they are quite a bit different, though. In the most basic non-philosophical sense, I've seen Chomsky to more point out the flaws in the system (so to speak), whereas Nader takes it one step further and proposes solutions (however unrealistic they are). But it makes sense since Nader is the consummate candidate whereas Chomsky is a writer/professor.
I do admire both of them for different reasons, though.
