Nice tips dude, thanksOriginally posted by audiotherapytweaks for freaks...
Open Firefox 1.0 and type about:config in the address bar
1. Find browser.tabs.showSingleWindowModePrefs and double click on it so it = true
2. Find network.http.pipelining and double click on it so it = true
3. Find network.http.pipelining.maxrequests doule click on it and change it from 4 to 8
1. Then enables advanced tab options in your Tools/Options page ()
2. This enables option #3.
3. This makes FF use 8 threads to each page.. Bascially, if you thought FF was fast before, try it after this.----------------------------Comment

For two cool extensions check out Sessionsaver and User Agent Switcher. First one remembers all your tabs when you close or there's a crash and re-opens them when you reload, the second lets you change the browser id to IE, so Firefox will work with sites that block it.
Awesome browser.

Me niether. I've been using Firefox for right around a year now and the only time I can't use it is when I try to access my work's intranet from home. Besidse the occasional rendering issue its been smooth sailing.Originally posted by influxcertain sites block firefox?! i've yet to come accross that...Comment

What I meant was sites that are not compatible with Firefox - like for example http://www.national-lottery.co.uk/. Click Sign In and you get
To allow us to give you secure access to this section of The National Lottery website you must use a PC or Mac running one of the following web browsers:
* Internet Explorer 5.01 SP2, 5.2, 5.5 SP2 and 6.
* Netscape 7 or AOL 7 and above
You can download the latest version of Internet Explorer from Microsoft here .
There aren't too many sites like this, but that extension sorts out the ones that there are.----------------------------Comment
