nothing will happen in october, other than midterm elections during that time. Have you looked at Europe lately? Spain is about to be the next Greece. England is accumulating massive amounts of debt, almost 400% of their GDP. There can be no war if there is no money to spend on a war. The people of the US aren't going to stand for war, especially if Obama is at the helm.

Interesting theory but I'd have to disagree. Troops are stretched too thin between Iraq and Afghanistan. Starting another war leaves us vulnerable to a violent backlash by the Muslim population in the most volatile regions. We might even see Saudi backlash or in general, just a mideast uprising. Public relations would go sour and it might be the perfect opportunity for nations like China and Russia to do something to upset us. Another war, with a rising deficit like ours, would really irk a lot of people. On top of that, allied nations cannot afford to help us.
Which brings me to the last part of this, the people of allied nations; they would surely not support us. Sentiment among the people in allied and first world nations is not indicative for any war ever since our campaigns first began in the early 2000s, and especially because many heads of state got major flak for helping us in Iraq and Afghanistan. Any war now would push citizens over the edge.
Your theory may pan out in the distant future, but I don't see it unfolding in the near future.
