Mac downloding

I just got a new iMac and tried to download the dave seaman set but it wouldn't let me. when I put the password in, it goes to the next page but the "save app" window doesn't pop up. But, when i type in the wrong password, it recognixes that and says "incorrect password". Any suggestions and how to fix this?

using safari?
see if the popup blocker is on
i think it's in the file menu
