Ok, so I just got this thing today. All I can say so far is that it smells great, along with my cdj too. :lol:

Anyway, for those that have this mixer, I was wondering what you are using to connect it to your receiver?, if at all you're connecting to a receiver.

Im currently using the Mix Out XLR female to RCA male (for receiver). Im finding this is not as loud as my old mixer plug in. My receiver now is up to about 60+ on the volume dial and the master on the xone at 5. Gains are about the same 5 or 6.

Old settting - the receiver was at about 45 to 50 and it was pretty loud.

Anyway, compared to my old mixer, this thing is like a NASA Consol god damnit!

Ok, I think I got the volume similar to where I had it. cool.

Still I would like to know how any of you with this mixer has it hooked up to either receiver or some type of amp.

I'm doing this outta my bedroom (big time hobby) and that's what I use. A pretty decent wattage wise Sony receiver.

Hey, I've had a few different setups over time... My idea one was having the Master XLR outs going into my soundcard on my computer, so it was XLR -> TRS (like a 1/4") on my Delta 44. This was for recording my sets. For monitoring, I had the booth output on the Xone connected to an amp, 1/4" -> RCA, and the amp driving my speakers.

This worked great for me as I could use the LED meters on the XONE to monitor the level of sound going to my computer. And I usually had this near maximum, to get the best signal to my computer for recording, so I could make sure my mix stayed at constant levels more of less, by trying to keep the overall level just below the red. Then I could use the booth control for the monitors, which I didn't need to know the exact level of, and which would be at a lower volume anyways.

Now, I just have the booth output going to my sound card, and then I have that mixed with whatever is happening on my computer and going out to my amp. I'm in the process of changing things in my room, so it will all be much better in the future.
