    Stolen!!!

And it happened, my allmost new, hi-tech bike was stolen. Cant belive it, i thinked that cloudnt happen to me. There it was, locked in the hallway of my building, for the first night(usualy it is in my room, but it was all covered in the mud). In the morning, i woke up, put my equipment on, to go on a ride to the nearest hill, came to the hallway, and what could i see??

    NOTHING!!

And to make my day, the dearest mr. policeman says that their statistic is around 5-7% of stolen bikes to be found.

I just had to tell you this folks, it makes me easier to get over it.

my bike was stolen in front of the horseracing hippodrome.
i stole another one not far from there a few weeks after that.
It was a really old bike, not a mountingbike or something like that so it wasn't that bad really.
in my hometown if you go report a stolen bike they tell you there's nothing they can do, go steal one yourself (i'm not kidding).
i've spray painted the new one in black and white and put some stickers on it to make it less intresting to steal.

      gutted mate

my first one went from outside my office... the pieces of shit cut through 2 locks for it

second one went from the hallway in my house... not a shared hallway, its only me and my 3 flatmates.. i came down in the morning one day to see the door ajar and my bike gone. my flatmate came in pissed from the pub the night before but denies leaving the door open despite the fact she blatently did!! (yeah, they're going to break in leaving no traces of entry and just take my piece of shit bike leaving the dvd player etc in the next room... nice one :?)

Immadic, you wouldn't happen to be from Ghent, would you? :P

That town must be the bike stealing capital of the world. Hasn't happened to me yet, but I know plenty of peeps that had their bike stolen over there, so they just steal one back. It's a vicious circle. Especially sucks when it's a really good and expensive bike.

I had one stolen from the hallway of my apartment building. It was just a crappy temporary bike I was using until I had my nice one (Gary Fisher - man I love that bike ) shipped over here, so I wasn't too heartbroken. Pissed, but not completely destroyed.

Some punk S%()* stole my skateboard about 10 years back

Brand new (at the time) LANCE MOUNTAIN, Tracker Trucks, Bullet Wheels, Bones rails, clear griptape with Powell Peralta and Hosoi decals underneath

It was a beauty and light as a feather...

And some fuck nut opened the garage door whilst we were out.

I should have beat him with an inch of his life then....

Years ago I moved from a town house complex where I had my bike locked up outside to a fence. I forgot about it when I moved and about 6 months later I was sitting in a coffee shop when it dawned on me I had forgotten my bike (this was after a really long cold winter). Anyway, a friend drove me over and it was still there!!! We had to break my lock though 'cause I couldn't find the key. Still have the bike now but it's a piece of shit! Won a new Strongbow bike at a Pub
Awww...I didn't mean A holes, as in "A holes"...I meant it like, as in, my friends....

got a bike stolen the first time from my garage, someone came in and took it, a ballsy move on their part, regardless it was insured so i got a new bike and decided that no one was gonna get this one so i locked it up in my garage after about 3 weeks the bike was gone from the garage... my high teenager intellect didnt think that they could break the wooden posts that the bike was attached to, as if they couldnt get the lock off later... so regardless they just broke the wood with the crowbar they brought in to get in the garage in the first place... clean job... good for them making me realize how stupid i was for locking it there... no more bikes after that, except for my good ol' CCM ICE which still rolls when i want it to...
                cheers
                Enjoy

I was gettinr inside the house of a friend of mine with it... when we closed the door, some motherfucker with his girlfriend pushed the door and got inside with us... and he took out a fuking gun and put it in my head, and said "turn it on, I?ll take it now...". Son of a bitch... everything comes back. don?t you think??? I wish for him to be in some kind of hell...

My new Trek road bike was stolen from our garage. We left it open for like, half hour and some guy took it. We walked around the neighborhood, and found it in some hallway of an apt. complex!! Stupid bastard.
