A self indulgent set. A mix that's more akin to sending you asleep in the bath than taking you through the night in a club. Its superbly mixed, and well presented, but equally rubbish in the sense that Sasha has once again eeked out a few more quid from his straggling fans for a mix that quite honesty sounds like he made it while sitting on the loo. If you looked at the BPM you'd think it was on the money but it's almost down tempo in the way the tracks repeatedly split and break up.
For a DJ that has come under so much criticism over the past few years (yes years) I find it amazing that he thinks his sets are still worth spending money on.
As my father would say...."A fool and his money are soon departed"
I don't think artists get paid to do Mixmag Cd's. They are normally restricted to tracks that are licensed for free. Most artists are happy just to have their tracks on one, so they don't charge.
