    Life of Pi [2012]

    Didn't find a thread about this one. Watched it on Friday night. I walked away feeling like I did when I saw Avatar. Blown away by the graphics but an okay-ish storyline. Given of course the big mystery behind the alternate story that he narrates to the insurance company (which then would put a crazy spin on the movie), it was definitely a great watch.

    Other than that, having seen the Indian actors in their Bollywood roles and knowing how good they are (Irfan Khan - present day Pi, His mother - Tabu), it was no surprise to have seen the quality performances.

    Give it a good 7/10

          Saw it, wasn't impressed. Visually amazing, bits that looked like a Disney cartoon.
