It was hysterical. Didnt know too much about it walking in. Great plot with twists and turns. Some really great performances - especially Christain Bale. I would highly recommend.

jennifer lawrence has a minor role in this film - the way its advertised you would think she was a lead. Amy wotserface does quite well in the other leading lady role.

Saw it over the weekend.. great story, amazing performances, and I loved the cinematography. Bale's performance was indeed very good.. probably one of his best ever. Overall, 8.5/10

didn't like it thaaat much.... amy adams and jennifer are great... but cooper's performance was average. and bale was ok. it started great, then it slows down. I'll give it 6/10 just because of Amy's cleaveage throughout the movie...

I expected too much from this movie. Thought the close-up shots were used too often and without a purpose. Thought the storyline was boring. Thought the acting was ok but not great. Wouldn't watch it again and should have waited for the DVD. Y
thought Deniro was good. At the end of the film I was left wondering what the point was, or why it was one long story about nothing. No character development really. 4.5/10

I agree with a lot of these reviews, but it's totally cool if someone likes this film, it just means the style of it wasn't my style, that's all.

big fat meh from me. mind you, I've been spoiled lately with Wolf Of Wall Street, Captain Philips, Gravity, etc. this just didn't measure up in comparison.

Jennifer Lawrence was great, and Amy Adams! Bradley Cooper was a monkey in this.
