I feel like he's disappeared off the scene and I miss his awesome monthly mixes he used to put up on soundcloud

I'm getting withdrawal symptoms of his awesome mixing and slow melodic grooves. If anyone knows what he's up to, please shed some light.

I have had the same withdrawal symptoms since a couple of months. I need his monthly mixes to cheer up my mood and this summer he's a no-show. Hope all is well though. Also hope he comes back with a BANG!

I saw him live here in BUE. He did the warm up for David August. this was a couple of months ago.

no more monthly mixes but seasonal (understand this means four a year or so) ..


he is playing alongside Simon Vuarambon and seems they'll share the same quantity of mixes with the same vibe they play live..

that stinks... but if he's simply too busy spreading the good vibes, i'd rather hear that than he's just not into it anymore. at least he'll put something out every so often!

i'd love to hear some live sets too!

Yeah but he never releases live sets or peak-time stuff. I hear what your saying and i hope hes not getting bored, but his monthly sessions were a godsend. Helped me through a lot these past couple of years. I just hope he continues in a positive direction.

definitely not getting bored.. in fact is the opposite.. with simon they found a pretty cool spot doing day/night parties with midtempo sounds and personally think is pretty clever.. I mean, as far as i know no one does that here in argentina scene + they both are superb on that matter.. Could be huge in the future.. And as they play live the same kind of stuff they play in studio, sounds logical to keep the surprised factor and quality on sharing music.. Maybe we can get some live stuff from ricky in the future which is awesome as well..

Bad news we dont get monthly mixes anymore, pretty good feeling about the quality of what we will get though..

Love Ricky's mixes, such flow, an easy way to melt into subconsciousness.

I still adore that Vuarmbon's Soulmates EP as well, would love to hear a set from those two.

Is he not doing a boat party this month? The early sunrise set?
