Got hired by HSBC as a corporate credit analyst, starting in January , any advice from you guys on books to read, tips to reinforce myself in this domain, any advice or help will be very welcomed from you.
Look for books by 'The Vault Career guide to...'. I have an excellent book on institutional sales and trading and I know do they do others. Also a book called 'how the City works' is v good as is anything by Alexander Davidson. Good luck mate...

check out the CFA curriculum books that deal with credit analysis and due dilligince performed by bond rating agencies. some great stuff in that. The fixed income books are especially good from that program. amazon should have 'em. either that or the cfa site www.cfainstitute.org
what sort of companies are you going to be analyzing, and at what level of lending?

banking makes the world go round. without it, there would be absolute chaos in the corporate world...
chaos in the corporate world, and peace in our world... maybe they wouldnīt rule our life.... I donīt know in your countries, but where I live, banks had fucked us so many times... (I mean "us" to employees... of course they make money with big corporations)
