CD1 is breaks, CD2 is house. LOVE the breaks mix,

Pappa's Resolution is indeed a great couple of mixes.
Tom Middleton - Sounds of the Cosmos. Best mix cds ever IMO.

One of the more recent more 'obscure'/underrrated mix cds i really like is-
        Max Graham-Cycles.

I saw him on tour for it also and he rocked the place!!!

          I liked...
Chriss Of The Quasar - Renaissance Hungary (very nice chill groove vibe)
Pole Folder - Destinations (this one took me by surprise)
Tiefschwarz - Fabric 29 (kind of dark and brooding - I dig)
Steve Gerrard - Thinking Out Loud (both discs are stellar IMO)
Lance Cashion - The Sound (really liked disc 1)
Taylor - Synesthesia (disc 1 - love that year 2001 sound)
Ashley Casselle - Deviations (both discs - lots of awesome tracks I'd never heard before - and still haven't since - kind of in it's own little world)

Eelke Kleijn - Broken Symmetry Eccentricbeats - 2004.07.19 (I think this is a promo mix but one that I always go back to - one of my favorite 60 min mixes of all time)

You can still get th Silk Mix Renaissance Promo here. My link is still working over 2 years later

Dave Seaman The Silk Mix Renaissance Promo 1996 I was going to put this in the free magazine cover mount Cd's post, but it wasn't released on a magazine. It was a free CD given out at Renaissance nights on a club tour sponsored by Silk Cut cigarettes hence the name The Silk Mix. I removed the track marks so its one continuous

Mixed and recorded by Derrick Carter using the XTS system: 118 Mac G4's, 21 Technics MK 1200's, 7 Pioneer DJM 500's and a DAT Player found in the trash.

Derrick is one of the best Djs in the world, who never gets or takes enough credit.

however - I'm sure his sleevenotes were tongue in cheek.

I "think" the only mixmag he did was the full blown commerical release from the early-mid 90's. Dont hink hes ever done a covermount

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.

Brother Cosmic Disco was a commercial release back around 98. I know cuz tracks 5-8 were on heavy rotation for days back then. ..this cd and Farina's United DJ's of America.
