Nice, ive been listening to GU 19 alot lately and of course its full if Rui da Silva tracks and remixes. It will be good to hear some recents sounds from him.

Yep 128kbps mp3 were "acceptable" at the time but really arent very easy to enjoy. I guess this was part of the thinking behind Sasha and John doing the first Renaissance mix album and other subsequent mix cd series. Everything was mostly shitty quality bootlegged tapes up to that point, and...

Its good to break it up into parts....or do it on a long drive or actively engaged in something. Kinda hard to bang out for 10 hrs just chilling at home or sitting still.

I do have to say, I love and am impressed by the sustained energy of the it all. Definitely a bangin party to have been...

Ive been going through quite a few pre 2002 live sets, like 1990s to about 2001. I have to say, alot have pretty awful sound quality with some exceptions. Of course alot were recorded on cassette or bootlegged.

Havent had the chance to listen to it all in one sitting but have listened to most all of it in seperate parts. One of the things I like about it being 3 parts.

Good amount of warmup but glad they crank it up pretty quickly.

The cd arrived yesterday. Listened to it 2 times in full. Really good, thumping and driving. Glad they made it more full on party then chill out,as so many DJs do with mix albums these days.

i am having some trouble downloading. It gets to 100% and prompts me to save the file but then freezes up amd doesnt respond. It may be the file size. Just wondered if anyone else is having the same issue?
