I listened to this in its entirety over the past week on my commute to work.
As a whole set it is amazing. How he keeps that level of groove for that long is special indeed. There are some very, very good tracks in there as well.
I think that CDs 3 and 4 lost me a bit, but that is only because the other CDs are so good. I think Cds 5 and 8 are the pick of the bunch though.
I'm not sure we'll ever see/hear something like this again.
Is it true he's releasing a new Fabric record? None the less, I'd agree with most comments here as this is another level of mixing, perfect in all means of a live set.

Another great night at Stereo last weekend .. just recovering from the travel. John played 4am til mid-day, really enjoyed the 2nd and 3rd hours of the early part, full use of that amazing custom analogue sound system - really layering the melody music seamlessly, amazing how he mixes tracks together that others would find impossible. It was all new music, pretty much the first time most of it had been played out. There's a 27 min fb Live on John's FB .. arms still aching now.
Also a great warm up from Ostrich, who really laid the foundation. In days when many complain about opening DJs not having the taste or less is more approach, Ostrich did a tremendous job. Fantastic vibe and three stunning lower tempo numbers to finish allowing the main act to go where they wanted.

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.
