    James Van Der Beek to play Diplo in TV show about the producer’s life

    James Van Der Beek will be the creative mind behind Viceland’s first foray into scripted television with a series based on the life of Diplo, Deadline reports.


    Tentatively titled What Would Diplo Do?, the six episode series will star Van Der Beek as a fictional version of the DJ in what’s described as “Louie meets WorldStarHipHopcrossed with This Is Spinal Tap”.
