I've had Sprint for over 5 years now and the only problems I've had with them were when I had to speak to customer service (but I can imagine with all the outsourcing its the same with others too). Also my friends and coworkers are always envious since I get all the latest and greatest technology from Sprint. I can watch TV on my phone, check my email, surf the web (not just WAP pages), get a ton of games and then the usual stuff like SMS etc.
I've looked into other companies and they don't have a whole lot to offer.

No shit! I have t-mobile and they don't have too much coverage out in west Texas except El Paso, and hardly any in New Mexico except along I-25. They're better than Sprint though.
Dub get Cingular....its the best down here. It used to be southwestern bell mobile
then they spun it into its own company....i have service everywhere in this
state; even way out around amarillo, el paso, and laredo area.
I had T-mobile when I went cross-country and I truly appreciated the fact that it worked pretty damn well anytime we were in or around major cities, but never (and I mean never) worked outside. It was such a pleasure to just drive and be totally disconnected...remember the old days?! It was quite serene and peaceful.

Well I have a little dilemma, Definitely wouldn't mind sticking with T-mobile cause they offer me the best service, but Verizon does look tempting as well as being more reliable along my drive. What also sucks is that I have been with T-mobile for 2+ years and want a phone upgrade, but they are not giving me much in discounts.....We'll see
thanks alot guys
best bet is to pay for the phone outright, and then you can sign up for shorter term plans...
No matter who you go with, READ THE ENTIRE CONTRACT COMPLETELY...even if you need a few minutes in the store before signing. A lot of stuff is promotional/limited time, and they do slip in little things on you...what sounds ok, you probably don't need.
