I always felt that with Sasha, around 96/99 you could get two different types of set. There was the Sasha that would play the bigger tracks, like his San Francisco GU, Alexandria Palace Mix or Tripple J, or you could get the Sasha that played more underground sets, like this one, Space 98 or the Stars X2 4 hour mix. I think that the Stars mix was probably recorded at a Tyrant night, like this mix, the moments aren’t as obvious. The other one that springs to mind was when he played the tiny Space Arena at Homelands in 2001, loads of people left because they found it slow and boring, it was completely different to what he played in in the Twilo Arena.
