Deven Sharma, president of Standard & Poor's, is stepping down from his position in the company, according to a report from the Financial Times.

Re: The Depression Drives Forward

The problem is if we are in a recession, depression, call it what you will, our technological advances and changes make it hard to detect.

That and the factors make it such where you have to be in a recession for some months anyway for it to officially be considered one.

Re: The Depression Drives Forward

the depression was postponed by QE1 and 2 and 3. Running out of bullets though. The depression will be worse now then it would have been in '08

QE1 $152 Billion Economic Stimulus Act of 2008 (Feb 200
QE2 $700 Billion Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 (Oct. 200
QE3 $787 Billion American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Feb 2009)
QE4 $26 Billion Hire Act "Jobs Bill" (Mar 2010)
QE5 $30 Billion Small Business Jobs Act (Sept 2010)

QE6(aka QE2) was worth $600 billion Nov. 2010

Lol...so because you decide to call something quantitative easing it is...do you even know what quantitative easing IS?
You're "smarter" than an average table perhaps yes...but definitely more arrogant than an average person. Good luck with that.
