Re:: My art
I think i know what you mean, being a budding producer of house i can listen to a piece of music that inspires me to write something of my own. The only difference between my work and yours is i suck at it, but i`m getting there...slowly.Originally posted by nsiteumm well I remember coming home and not being able to sleep I was SO blow away by what he was doing. I have been into house music for about 7 years & I AINT EVER heard shit like what that boy did! It turned what I thought I knew about my favorite music genre on it's ear.Never being a painter my self, how does this sort of thing inspire somone? I`m not being picky at all it a serious question sir.
An experience like that just sets something a fire inside of me. It doesn't happen as often as one might think, but I had to run with it. I listen to myself and what I am feeling at the time and interpret it in the form of my paintings.
That particular one was more objective and a tribute so to speak to the experience & "the night the circus came to town"Leave a comment:

that's the thing. you become the colours. they eat you and you eat them. when you are fooked out there, geebus, foooooooooooooooooOooooooooked. i have only did it once. when i was a young buck. painted for 10 hours straight. fucking painted everywhere. i lost it. i am not sure if it was the paint or the "new" sasha & digweed east coast cd. listened to that fooooooooooooooooooooooooker on repeat 4 EVA.
i was blasted. blasted. blasted, blasted. good old mr timothy on gel.
