that was fucking awful.
joe cole, owen hargreaves, and rooney were the only players who actually played well.
lampard was shit.
beckham was shit.
crouch was shit.
cole was shit.
carragher was absolutely shit, possibly the worst player on the pitch for me.
terry was shit.
campbell completely fucked up on that second goal (poor defence in general but he really fucked the dog.)
robinson was shit.
ferdinand was okay - why did he get subbed?
gerrard came on and saved us with a goalline clearance and a goal.
our corner defending was nothing less than shocking.
if, as it appears, owen is done for the WC we are in big big big big trouble, not that we may have been in less with him fit.
when we have to play a proper team, we are fucked i fear. but i'll be there cheering us on...Comment

i know from picking up injuries playing football that if you have an injury in your foot and you dont let it fully heal (pardon the pun) you compensate for it in other parts of your body i.e you knee. It's owens own fault for being a selfish toe wrag and insisting on going to Germany. He should have stayed at home. what a team player.......... sven is just as bad for picking him. what a shit coach he is and has proven himself to beComment

Coles goal was on of the best in the WC so far imo.
