    interesting fact

last night, the yankees hitters only swung and missed (swinging strike) 3 times.

ouch. so who still thinks the mets or twins are going to win?

best player in the game. and why for the last decade everyone answers the question
"who is the first person outside of rivera you would pick for your team?"
    with the statement
"derek jeter", not manny, not nomar, not arod, not puljos, not ortiz, not clemens, not santana, not bonds, not schilling, no one.

and next year, bobby abreau might have 200 RBIs with 10 homers.

yea i hated him before becasue of the evil organization that he played for, but all that aside, jeter is a stud, very fun to watch

Glad the A's beat the Santana oh I mean the Twins. Funny how all these "expert" analysts' keep picking the wrong pictchers/teams to win.

Im mainly talking about the yahoo sport writers (gwynn / passan) and ESPN for that matter. How they looooove the AL.

First they didnt give the Dodgers a winning chance vs the Phillies for the wildcard. Stated the Phillies are on FIRE (which they were) but ultimatley could not catch up with L.A. Dodgers winning 7 in a row to end the season.

...and now the Mets will "roll" on L.A. even without Martinez.... we'll see.
