You should be laughed at and treated as a joke if you really believe in the figures that you've just posted above.

The israeli army murdered over 1000 innocent men, woman and children in it's bombardment of Lebanon in a little over a month. This did not include a full occupation of that country.

The us have dropped thousands and thousands of bombs all over Iraq since March 2003. On top of this the us has fully occupied Iraq since the 2003.

If the bombs don't kill you than the occupation will.

yes, that report was entirely discredited within a few weeks. even Amnesty international had chimed in, and they are one of the more credible agencies when it comes to reporting rights violations.

That 600,000 figure is a load of horseshit. People were saying that 600,000 were dead over a year ago. At that rate they should be saying it's well over 1,000,000 by now... but they just stick with 600,000. It's a freaking talking point that they have forgotten to change with time.

About the only way you get to 600,000 dead in Iraq is if you count 30 years of Saddam's rule in the figures.

The 600,000 figure came from a report in the Lancet - that report and its methodology have now been entirely discredited; i'll see if i can pull up that report soon.

Protesting in the streets or bringing a court action are a far cry from stoning people to death, cutting off heads/arms, and killing masses of people in the name of an invisible man in the sky. I don't think you can equate the actions of some athiests petitioning for the removal of religion from the public arena to the violence perpetrated by religious people over the centuries.

I don't recall Christians doing the violent acts you mention in recent times. You're speaking of a few radical Muslims of today. Liberals and atheists don't attack Christians with the same hate because they're scared of Muslims.

The alliance of the far left and the Muslim community is an interesting situation that will explode one day. When I think of these two groups - the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Once the friend is dealt with then the enemies will turn on each other.
