preinstalled windows vista ultimate. I do have a mac but my girlfriend uses it.

No, I am not saying you need to be a nerd to have an opinion, but you need to have at least a basis of an opinion rather than just saying Macs / Windows suck.

mac is lame because they've lied to their customers, they've lied to magazines about benchmarks and performance and they keep claiming their OS is nearly perfect when we all know it isn't, they force you to install itunes when all you want is just quicktime and guess what THEY DELAYED LEOPARD.

... and microsoft has being lame since 92 when i got a compaq presario with windows 3.11 in it. the problems have never stopped since then. but overall i'm a pc user because i like many programs that aren't avaliable on mac os so thats it.

Regarding your statement that Macs aren't "perfect", well nothing in this world is mate, but OS10 being built on Linux is WAYYYY more perfect than any other PC based OS you'd get especially being backed by a MAJOR corporation (in comparison to the freebie releases of the Open Source community). And delaying Leopard doesn't make a Mac suck . If that was the case, Vista would be perfect cause they ended up releasing it way earlier than the "delayed" estimates they promised the world and then ended up shaving the head of the OS just to release it to satisfy customers.

As for Microsoft, yes, they are terrible I'll give you that. But its what we all use and we all have our love hate relation with Microsoft's shitty product, maybe moving to a Mac would be wiser eh
