im going to recommend the turkey club, probably cant find a roast beef club sandwich there.

No worries, if you're hankering for some steak some of the big hotels and reputed restaurants can hook you up...but if you settle for McDonald's, it won't be beef when you're biting into in a Big Mac, but lamb Still tasty though...just keep the Immodium handy, even though I'm used to eating Indian food being an Indian, whenever I visit home (I live in Dubai) I end up spending 1/2 the day in the bog just coz everything is so spiced up there

They have a Ministry of Sound club there, Desyn was there a couple of months ago...also check out Elevate in Noida, just outside Delhi (not quite sure if it still exists though)...mind you, you won't find much 'underground' dance music in Indian clubs, except on the rare night....this site's a good resource for the dance music scene in India: www.submerge.in

Mind you, Bombay and Goa are THE places to party in India

heh, its not all champaign & caviar, unfortunately. I've been in Lagos, Nigeria and Luanda, Angola the last 12 days trying my level best not to get:

1) Kidnapped by a rebel group that is trying to gain control over the oil interest in the region. Working for an international oil company (and being white) essentially paints a big target on you for that, and every company here has had it happen at one point or another.

2) Catch malaria (3 of 4 types of which you get for life, and the other type that can be fatal if not treated promptly). This involves taking medication daily that makes you have very strange dreams, sleeping under mosquito netting, using more DEET than a camping goods store, and having this paranoid spasm anytime a bug lands on you.

3) Trying not to catch dengue fever (again from mosquitos), food poisoning or certain types of hepatitis from the water. Always fun when trying to order food...

i'm gonna post more about my African experience when i'm home in about a week and have had time to digest it all. As of now though, I won't be coming back as a tourist

Going to be in New Dehli for work as of Wednesday evening, and i'm there over the weekend. Anyone know of any cool clubs to check out while i'm there?
