Yeah that's what they said about Gore and TN in 2000.

I'm not voting for Bush, and I'm not voting for Kerry. Neither is going to be effective for turning the country around, and they are the two worst presidential candidates I have seen in the years since I have been old enough to pay attention to politics. To put it mildly... The "anybody but Bush" mentality is old and tired. It's not like Kerry is really any better.
(just wait for the Bush/Kerry campaign posters in a couple weeks )

I'm not voting Green either - to me they have nullified their validity as a 3rd party by vowing not to campaign in swing states because it could hurt Kerry. I thought the point of a 3rd party was to actually make a difference and affect politics, but apparently not if you are the Green party. If it could be construed that they cost the Democrats the presidential election 2 times in a row, it *might* make the Democrats wake up and pay attention to the voters they lost. But unfortunately, the Greens have jumped on the "anybody but Bush" bandwagon and have forgotten what is the point of a 3rd party. Thanks guys.

Probably not going to vote for Nader - he has some good ideas that really *should* be slowly implemented over the next decade or two, but he is overly idealistic with his policies and out of touch with what would actually work in the economic and political world.

What's left? Maybe I'll write somebody in....

    Beanz for president!!!!

I have to contest that I was laid off during the Clinton administration due to outsourcing and the whole dot com thing and it got worse from there. Frankly his last term of office we went into a downward spiral. So then its recession, 911, and stock market scandals. Pretty hard for any new pres to manage woudn't you say? I see the future, but not with another Demogoblin at the seat. Things will get better in time.

definitely voting in this one...going to go with Kerry, as I think he can help turn this economy around better then what Bush did.

It's still too touchy on whether or not the economy is going to improve as a whole, but the last recession we were in was out of the Gulf War in the early 90's and Bush Sr. was at the helm...a Democrat gets voted after and things suddenly become very good...I think history may repeat itself a bit...not to the extent of a few years ago (because there won't be another dot-com boom), but things will become a lot better then they have been over the past 2-3 years.

i think it does not matter who you vote for just get off your ass and do it.

everyone has different needs and wants. and most (all) politicians are crooks and scum bags. they are professional losers. =P

just try to vote for the best (least) one.

You are absolutely right, we are in economic recovery and have been since before 9/11. However at this point I'm looking out for my friends and our troops and know better than to change Presidents, during a time of War, its never happened in history and your talking a complete overahaul of the administration that started the War.

    ^^^
At this point I don't care who runs the country. IMO Bush is the worst possible choice, and we have handled it for the last 4 years, whats another 4? I'd rather start showing my support now for the other candidates. The economy (one of my main concerns) is headed into its recovery stage, its not going to matter if its Bush or Kerry. As far as national security I believe the president no matter who it is is going to do his best and that'll leave all things equal. The ones you have to worry about is the actual ones fight terrorism (authorities- national and local), not the figureheads... and from some of the things I've seen and heard its kinda scary.

When you filter through it all you start to realize both are saying the same things and they will both probably do an as equally piss poor job as the next.

So why waste your vote on either of them? Let everyone else be lemmings, its time for a change.

^^you know you'll still be stealing votes from both candidates, thus throwing Bush the advantage. Thus why I I'll be voting for the Bush. Might as well vote for one or the other until third parties gain momentum. It's already possible among the people, some things just need worked out. I'll be expecting Colorado to be an important factor in the electoral vote issue this year.

I'm voting for Michael Badnarik (LP)...

I figure everyone else will decide the rest of the election anyways. I'm really voting for the local initatives, especially the one thats going to lower my property taxes by 1/3.

My gut feeling is that Kerry is going to win the Presidental election, and as long as it appears that way (at least from the feeling I get for our state), I'll take my chance and throw it away on Badnarik.

I wish others would just not give a crap about the turnout of this election (since both the frontrunners are jackasses) and "throw away" their vote on the alternative parties. Maybe if everyone voted for who they *truly* believed would be the best candidate, rather than out of fear for the worst of the two current choices getting into office, we could end up with a pleasant surprise.

We are pretty close to the bottom, and things are starting to look up. So what difference will it really make who's in office at this point?

As a teacher of mine used to say "The upside to being at the bottom is that there's only one direction you can go."

He seems to be a honest and a committed man, i do admire that. Kerry, has some good ideas, but the fact that he can sway sides so quickly bothers me. As I stated earlier, it is really a tuff call for me. I am thinking about what is right for me and my country. Since I am small business owner ... Bush tends to give me more support, while Kerry tends to take more of my hard earned cash. Kerry seems to have a better plan for health and education, which is really important to me because I am new papa. If Bush will not wage another war, and just focus on this fucking country for his last four, I think he will perhaps be forgiven for his past offenses. But, yet, he can be a crazy six shooting Texan.

This country needs some repairs within, and it would be nice have the next president have that on top of his next agenda.

Voting for Bush. But it is not in ink.

You have to contact the supervisor of elections in your new county and give them an updated address before Oct. 1st or you wont be able to vote. Supervisor of elections is in the phone book, so gove 'em a call and update your address. Then all you have to do is showup to the poll with your ID and take your old voter registation card just in case.
