    Blu Ray / HD DVD

    Is there any PC software available out there that will play Blu Ray / HD DVD movies ?

    i think computers with a decent video card can play them...

    might try VLC or media player or powerdvd might do it.. i think those bluray dvd drives are pretty spendy though

      I'm pretty sure it's a hardware thing, i.e., you've got to have a Blu-Ray or HD-DVD drive, because it's a different type of laser. If you find out something different, please post it...

                  Well if you downloaded a high def movie then yes.

                  If you have an hd- dvd or blu ray disc then you need the proper hd-dvd or blu ray drive to play it. Although if you buy a drive, software is usually bundled with it to play it.
