I was there... for about an hour. Then my friend got sick and we all left. Fuck
whatever, crobar is fucking gay. There are some assholes at the door, i mean wtf happened to casual dress. It aint no fuckin ballroom. I dont know I can understand trying to uphold an appearance, but They are assholes at the door. Usually not to me, but I see people getting kicked out the line, and when you wait that long and get rejected that has to fuckin blow. I ono I think he is spining there Friday. count me in

when sasha spun for this video, june 2004, if my horrible mind serves me correctly, myself and eight other people who were dressed in sneaker, jeans, and not flashy shirts got in with no problems

Its been happening to alot of peeps who gets turned down at the front door who's there for the music and not the crowd at this place...As you probably know, they're trying to get the venue w/ more dressy/stylish crowd, which is bs of course..crowd who doesn't even know who's djing..but hey there's alot of more venues to go in NYC, other than Crobar which has good local dj's and no drama at the door

At a lot of places in NY if you have a group of girls with you, then you can be dressed like whatever, but if you're just with a few mates the door men tend to be assholes and will look for reasons to kick you out of line or tell you that you can't get in.

hey i got this though the email blast they send out.... the video is less than a minute and its overmodulated, but at least you get a sense of how he tore it up that night...the crowd looks real good...

BTW notice the dj set up.. it looks like he is only spinning cds....
