Technical question - creating covers for MP3's

I wanted to re-organise my files and overhaul my i-pod so everything appears in some semblence of order.

A few of my MP3's are pre-loaded with file covers .. some of which are pretty crap, and the picss appear on my i-pod display. Does anyone know how I can change the picture allocated to these files and how I create new covers for existing MP3's from my picture library ?

I'm on Vista ... dunno if that limits or improves my chances !

Im on Mac but will explain best I can.

Choose the file you want to tag with a picture and look at its info (where you change the name and what not). Then you should be able to select the "Artwork" tab. Within that tab you should have the ability to assosiate any picture by browsing your files...

This is the best description I can give being at work and away from my puter.... Hope this helps.

If you use itunes you can go to file>get info and then see/change the picture attached to the file..I think that's how you do it.

Right... These would be directions for iTunes.

I assumed you are using iTunes becuase you have an iPod.....
