Re: Who still listens to the digweed kiss mixes?

You guys live in the past..wake up and move on to today. If you don't like his show anymore then why do you even bother? Instead of moaning about how good he was and how bad he is now, listen to somebody else you like more. You can't blame DJ's for changing their music style..if they move on to something different you don't like you will surely find other DJ's who serve you better.

IMO it's more than disrepectful to moan all the time about DJ's just because of different tastes. If you can't see what people see or feel when they listen to Electro, Minimal House or whatever then it's you and only you, not the DJ. It´s the same with some actors..if they played one time in a very successful comedy, people expect them to make comedy movies for the rest of their lifes but that's just limiting other people's creativity and their freedom to express themselves.

Those who didn't listen to Music in the past and think it really sucks today can say "Here". Our musical interests change from time to time so please give DJ's the same freedom. This post is not directed to the las posting but meant in general as we had more than enough DJ bashing going on here lately..let's use the time better and talk about Music we enjoy. All IMO of course.

his live sets slightly better, but still, he's not the same digweed from 1997 - 2003. During that time, nobody can touch him, in terms of his mixing and music selection.

i still download & listen to digweeds hour and the guest mix. i love digweeds section as he gets to play whatever he wants (even thought it might not suit a proper mix) - so you exposed to a variety of music. that does mean, of course, that the show can be a bit hit and miss, but i still give all of them a listen.

i also always listen to the guest mixes.. even if it's a dj i'm not fond of, because you never know..

I think the lot of us would rather catch the live show or the 3-4 hour sets, but Digweed's weekly Kiss100 holds us addicts over until the goods are delivered.

I'm lucky enough to live in the Kiss transmission area. I record the whole show straight to PC, stick the first hour on an audio CD so that I can listen to it in the car during the week and save the second hour to mp3 so that I archive it and listen to it at work. I also save the whole show for about a week or two as a .wav so that I can edit out any ads in the guest mix and resave.
For me the first hour isn't about the quality of the mixing - it's about the quality of the music, and sometimes he transmits a live set.
