Being from NY, seeing Sander come thru town often playing 4-8 hour sets, never that short of a set, bummer. But CSquare is right, when you share a bill like that with Marco V, the headliner goes first, then the closer gets the last 2.5-3 hrs. Sucks sometimes when you really want to see the middle guy longer. Last year at Spundae saw Max Graham play for 2 hrs, then Micro for 3. Would've much rather seen Max Graham for a full 4 hours. But, that's the way it goes, i guess? He'll be around again probably not sharing the night soon. Chin Up!

also, for the flow of the night, you wouldn't want marco v to open up and completely push the bpms all up to have sander bring it all down. more people would have been pissed if that happened.
I have seen several djs in LA...this is the shortest set that I have heard from Sander...every other time I have seen him he has been the closer...usually playing at least 3.5 - 4 hours. But you are right about the ordering...Marco V is faster bpm...just don't think that it was a good combo to begin with.

i have heard a lot of this going on lately.. the real sander that i know plays for at least 4.5 hours if not 8.. seems he is turning into digweed and sasha.. 3 hours to me is a fart.. a good warm up.. if your a good DJ then you should be able to go 6 hours.. as for the marco v booking same night as sander that is just a horrible combo.. he needs like a Brad Copeland or somebody similar to open for him.. bad booking combo IMO.. Shit i'm paying $60 sometimes to come so you so play some fucking music.. .. Who the fuck these guys think they are..3 hours.. everybody there has to pay $20 an hour for u to spin?? I'm not very happy about the recent sander shit latlely.. tacky track selection lately.. and weak performances.. his everybody too is already old so i hope he 's got some new shit coming.. been recently losing intrest in sander and focusing on guys coming with fresh shit all the time like Hernan and Desyn.. Luke Fair (IMO) and Sander have been letting me down lately..

Saw Sander K in Hollywood on10-30/31...

So i went to go see Sander this weekend. I have seen him spin several times before...I think this was my 5th time seeing him. Have always had a great night with Sander @ the decks...but I was a bit dissapopointed. I think I just went with high expectations. He only played for about 2.5 hours., I thought he would be the closer...but was saddened when I saw Marco V take stage and the sound switch over to techno. I know he is promoting his new album and did play the tracks that I like off the album...just wantd a little more. Nevertheless, if this was my first time seeing him I think I would have enjoyed it a lot more, but have been more impressed by his stuff in the past....

Anyone else go to see Sander K @ Godskithen in Hollywood?
Working...
