It's 7am, I just woke up... someone decided to burn down one of the buildings in my apartment complexes. I shit you not there are 100 firetrucks here- and all the news trucks are ligned up on the main road. It's a big deal 'cause this place is owned by the University. No word if its arson yet.

true, but with the way things are going on that account, I just don't think Bush is the answer...I will tip my hat if we DO get back on our feet ok and things are relatively fine from that point. I won't deny that either.

well, the surplus at the beginning of the Bush presidency...not much, but a surplus nonetheless....but also now a very huge deficit after 4 years, and the economy isn't exactly as good as it was some years back either...

I know...it's just mind boggling sometimes. This country is apparently into the belief of "security" from "terrorism" at the expenses of deficits, wars, and recessions.

I don't get it...someone who didn't win the popular vote in 2000, had a job approval rating under 50% before the election, now will get roughly 2+ million MORE votes in the popular vote and assure the 270-electoral vote...
