OK so I have TB3.1.1 / Lightning v1b2 on my PC and want to have my laptop sync up with that (also using TB/Lightning) so I can use either and changes will reflect on both. Anyone know how I go about this?

Re: Thunderbird/Lightning sync question
I have my PC dual-boot with Ubuntu and Windows, and I pointed both configs to the same data files on an external drive which both OS'es are able to connect to. Regardless of the OS I boot to, I have the same email data store, address book, and general settings. You may want to investigate storing everything on a master drive and having the two sync to it.

Re: Thunderbird/Lightning sync question
Cheers. Think the main problem with that is when I'm on the move my laptop won't have access to that drive. Although I could expand that idea and use Windows Home Server.Comment

Re: Thunderbird/Lightning sync question
I've now set up Thunderbird's calendar on both my laptop and PC to read from Google Calendar using this handy little plug-in:
Provider for Google Calendar connects Thunderbird with Google Calendar for full task sync, conference details, and scheduling support. It offers deeper integration than Thunderbird’s native support using Google’s official API.
As long as that can update my calendar from Thunderbird/Lightning then it's all good. Mail wise I have my own server so might just carry on with IMAP on the Laptop and POP3 on the PC.Comment
