from the dates on this thread Im about 2 years behind.
Watched this last nite - fantastic film on many levels.
Great performances - as already mentioned the Hepburn characterization is spot on down to the rhytm of her speech. Leo is great as Hughes and displays the OCD symptoms well.
Good storyline which is gripping - but is also failry true to the real story (from what I have read about Hughes life).
My 2 small complaints - was the 'nasty' senator just wasnt mean enough - and the second on/off relationship with Ava Gardener wasnt portrayed well in the film (ie with enough detail) but at already 3 hours theres only so much you can show!
Brilliant stuff well deserving of the 5 oscars I would say.....Freak in the morning, Freak in the evening, aint no other Freak like me thats breathing....
