people in the smuggling trade are hired to take a product from one point to another, its like a business and in most cases products like heroin will pass through many people on its journey to say from afghanistan to say london... now say there are trusted people who these guys have done business with for quite sometime the chances are that because they have done business in the past less and less questions are asked about what is actually in the wrapped and sealed packages ( maybe even crates..whatever )... now say for example a smuggler is given 10 crates to take from one point to another does the smuggler open the crates to see whats in them ? i highly doubt it tbh... what if those crates contain nerve gas ? the smuggler does his job takes it from say the tip of france across the channel into dover or whereabouts and meets his contact then hands over the merchandise gets paid and walks away... its at this point the thing you don't say exists comes into place, the sleeper cell!!!!
these guys store it in whatever ( warehouse or some shit ) and this is what's known in the business as a "safe house" so its fucking ESSENTIAL for these guys to remain undetected and this is why you don't see or hear about them.
To me this justifies the war in iraq and afghanistan so some degree because they are not exactly know to send flowers and chocolates to the first woman on her birthday are they ? oh and just for the records i would love 5-10 crates of nerve gas to be deployed in glasgow as i,m sure you would like this to happen in the nearest city to you.
