Anybody planning to give this new Role Playing Game a go? After almost three months without Games thanks to work, I so plan to play the fuck out of this Game. The Witcher was a great Game already and what I saw so far about the 2nd part looks very promising. Decicions that really matter and invite you to play it more than one time, vast story telling and connection Gamers with the characters they meet sounds more than yummy to me. I got my copy in the Mail today but since it was a 18+ product, I was expected to be there to receive it in person..since I was at work, they took it to the post office so I have to wait till tomorrow. Thanks, German Youth protecting laws!
I also hope their sales numbers are high to show Bioware/EA what they did wrong with Dragon Age 2 lol.
If you're planning to spend the weekend with The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings -- in lieu of bracing for the impending hellfire, of course -- make sure you've got enough space on an NTFS-formatted hard drive to do it. Though the game's PC system requirements note you'll need "16GB of disc space," they don't mention you'll need that space to be on an NTFS drive.
I thought 4 GB is the limit for FAT32 but I could be wrong. Anyways, after seeing how the Game is running with the Release version and after reading the 1st forum entries full of technical problems and bugs, I decided to wait till a patch came out and am now playing L.A. Noire in the mean time.
Looks sweet I might have to give it a try. Let me know if it is any good. I am already hooked on a few so adding another game is like a marriage proposal for me with the amount of hours I waste on certain games.
i think is going to be on Xbox360 , but on a computer will look much much better!.....
i have a quad core and 4gb of ram, space also is avaible but my video card i think i must upgrade it! i have a Geforce 8800gf, looking for some options on my local store....hehe
Yeah Xbox release is announced for 1st quarter of 2012. They aim for medium graphic settings compared with the PC. I must say, the Witcher 2 is by far the best graphical looking RPG I have ever played. It even shows Cryis 2 (in DX9 mode) where it's at and it's not Crytek lol.
