I'm plumping for AC Milan this year, their squad is just too strong.Chelsea may have the players but they havent got the team spirit yet.

      Go Milan!

        Re: UEFA Champions League 2004/2005

Well...I?d like to think that Porto are gonna bring this one home again this year, but I don?t believe it.

In terms of players, they are even stronger this year : Seitaridis from the Greek European Cup side, Diego and Luis Fabiano, key players for the Brazil national team, Quaresma, who is, along Cristiano Ronaldo, the most talented Portuguese youngster...

But they lost heir biggest asset : Jos? Mourinho. So, logically, I think this one belongs to Chelsea this year.

Failing that, I?d like to see Real Madrid win it, or Arsenal (just because they?ve been trying for so long, and they play the best football in Europe at the moment).

I personally dont see any of the English clubs doing all that well in Europe this year. Even Arsenal. Watch that Fulham match, they get away with a penalty being called back, and then a goal being taken away. That could have been a totally different out come. Just hope the officiating in Champs league is alot better.

              Re: UEFA Champions League 2004/2005

Go Maccabi Tel Aviv Nice to see the Israelis improving in European play. Their second club in two years to make the group stage of the Champions league after a club making the semis of the UEFA cup and drawing France in France at 0-0 is just too sweet! But getting Bayern, Juve and Ajax for a group is just too damn tough.

As far as serious competition goes, I'll be pulling for Juve. Though imo Real or AC Milan will probably take the title.

                Don't worry about Ajax ;-)

They managed to give away a 3 - 0 lead to ADO Den Haag (which normally will play degradation football at the end of the year....

                Go TEL AVIV!

they're all good for the premiership title run, but they never seem to get their act together for the champions league...

i'd like to see an Arsenal v Real final, with Paddy Vieira smashing in the winner from 30 yards in the last minute. dreams.

Last season, Arsenal were really unlucky not to go all the way. Chel$ki didn't deserve to get to the semi-finals. All that filthy money. grrrr.

Reyes is playing like a comic footballer, Roy of the Rovers. We bring him on and he changes the game. I wonder what impact he'll have on our Champions League fortunes. Very pensive about the defence without Sol. Anyway I'm off to Highbury now, I'll try and take some pics for you guys...and try to not look like a tourist.

Of course they are unbeatable when the refs call back goals scored on them and then turn around a penalty because they apparently forgot that cant happen against the mighty Gunners. lol

If Real Madrid doesnt win it then they need to buy some more players! Fucks sake, now they want Gerrard? The owner must think he is playing bloody FIFA 2005 on playstation. He makes Abramovich look like someone who actually cares about the game.
