I was not here when that happened, but I know the location very well and drive past there frequently.


The main thing I noticed about it is that you didn't see people looting and burning the city down afterward, as happens in the north.
If this had happened in Chicago, Baltimore, St. Louis, Detroit, DC or New York then there would have been mass chaos. Riots. Fires.

Down here, people are better than that. You saw a community united in response. If the stated goal was to start a race war, it failed miserably.
