^^^ It's a spectrum analyser. It's shows the actual bitrate of the download. This one is 128 despite the claimed 320.

You can see this happening even in Beatport,
I always purchase .wav files and many times you get 320Kbps even 192Kbps

^^^ YES!!! It is so annoying !!! We pay extra for that high quality . By the time you take into account the exchange rate and now an added tax for we Aussies Beatport are quite expensive. And if you want to buy an album they charge extra on every track !! Example Hernan's Sudbeat Balance . Even as a 320 on Beatport it was more expensive that the CD delivered to my door. It was a massive $53.22 in aiff/wav Juno only charge 1 fee for that . CDs are actually cheaper.



Although I don't think I have ever had a 192 from them.

What is a blasphemy? This is not a piece of art written for centuries of coming. This is not like if you listen the Spem in alium for 40 voices, and you have the partiture open and you actually read the script while you listen and all the sudden you asked for a lose line of bass or something like that. This is monophonic music, there is no complication in here, all is homophonic in here. What is the problem with that? There is no artistic merit compromised if it's 128 or 320 kbps with the file. It's not Bach's Die Kunst der fuge, it's just EDM.

^^^ I can recognise and respect that you have a deep passion for your music. But your passion for your music doesn't diminish mine or anyone else's. It doesn't make any other form of music less important. Every piece of music comes from all the music that has ever happened, and we can all hear it differently. Some of us are even able to appreciate many different forms of music. It has no bearing on the date and the number of people involved or if you can read a script with it, that is important to you , incidental to me. The thing with electronic music is that it can be anything you want it to be , it has an infinite capacity, it isn't bound by ancient rules or instruments. There is beautiful composed/produced music in every form. I don't like to use EDM to describe the music I love merely because it is used to describe a form of electronic I don't like . But I really, really love wonderfully intricate, melodic, sensual music that I can dance to and be a part of.

Btw I do have classical music in my collection , and multiple versions of some. I keep trying to find the perfect one for me There is another massive advantage to electronic music. They can be remixed in a flash Well, if you the talent of course. There is another advantage,if you have the talent electronic music is accessible to all and on many , many levels, from producing to be able to put other peoples productions together in many different ways. Although that can also a downside when you are looking for music

But whatever music we love we should all aspire to hearing it the best way we can. Life is too short for crap

^^ You are exactly right now, but once upon a time is really meant electronic dance music, which if we are here we all like What we talk about here is proper electronic dance music. Still, even the new EDM can be a gateway to the good stuff, and probably is for a lot of people.
