This attitude right here is exactly why he was elected and why he'll be reelected. You do realize that sort of thought makes you just as bad or even worse of a person than you claim he or his supporters to be. Your opinions are not facts. The hypocrisy on the left is outstanding.

Probably... Not an expert on US politics but looks like since WW2 there were basically 8 years for each party.. in other words, it takes more or less 8 years to people voting for a change.

No. the reason he was elected was because the Electoral College voted him in, Hillary won the popular vote.

Also, I like to surround myself with the truth. not what people tell me to believe or what I am supposed to believe. i am not blinded by religion. i am not blinded by an allegiance to one side or another. i have said this many times... i would gladly vote Republican, but with the racism and disregard for any moral logic or rightness (i simply cannot fathom why someone with children would have or will vote for Trump), i cannot see myself doing that for the foreseeable future. The Republican party was once a good party, that actually stood for something, conservatism, fiscally responsible... but they are none of that right now.

Clint - a few questions for you, please answer each: how is it that the character and moral compass of a President, no longer matters? why does it not matter to you that we have not seen any of Trump's tax returns? why does it not matter to you that he cheats on his wives with porn stars prostitutes? why does it not matter to you that he was caught on tape, many times, belittling women? why does it not matter that Trumps business dealings are rampant with fraud? why does it not matter to you that Trump is anti-our allies and pro-Russia?

i think the fact that Trump still denies climate change and is even promoting policies that further it a long is more important than any list anyone can create, pro or con.

Right. And if it weren’t for the electoral vote, Los Angeles and New York would be the deciding factor in every election. How is that fair to the country as a whole?

Funny how the media and the left freaked out when during one of those first debates, Trump said he wouldn't be able to immediately accept if wasn't chosen as the Republican nominee, but look at them now. 2 years later and they still can't accept he won the presidency. Now they're trying to get rid of the electoral vote. Hypocrite much?

Again, your opinions are not facts. Trump has done more for the black community in 2 years than Obama did in 8, yet the left still screams racism against anyone who disagrees with their political correctness agenda.

how is it that the character and moral compass of a President, no longer matters?

                  - It does, never said it didn't. But not being politically correct isn't something I consider a character flaw. What hurts your feelings doesn't necessarily hurt mine. This is the left's major problem with Trump and ultimately why he got elected. The people who elected him are sick and tire of being told what to think and/or say because of political correctness.

why does it not matter to you that we have not seen any of Trump's tax returns?

                  - How would this change anything? If he illegally avoided paying taxes, it would be public record. He most likely used the US tax system, as it's designed, to avoid paying the amount he's bracketed for by claiming write-offs, deductions, etc. Still would have no effect on how he does his job as president. I guarantee you that every politician and member of congress has abused the tax system in the same way.

why does it not matter to you that he cheats on his wives with porn stars prostitutes?

                  - Again, this is rumor/opinion but even if it were true, it's not like he got his dick sucked in the oval office while president like Bill Clinton. These rumors are from a decade ago, well before he ran for president and would have no effect on how he would do his job as president.

why does it not matter to you that he was caught on tape, many times, belittling women?

                  - Trump also has a long record of promoting and empowering women in the work place and now in the White House, but you don't hear about that in the mainstream media. Some of what you're referring to happened well before his presidency and since towards women who were already outspoken against him. Remember, he's not PC.

why does it not matter that Trumps business dealings are rampant with fraud?

                  - Again, a lot of this is rumor/opinion and only came into light after he decided to run for president to try and taint his campaign and keep him from winning. He's a businessman, albeit a dirty one at times, but his success as a businessman is another reason why he was elected. America needed one after 10 years of a tanking economy.

why does it not matter to you that Trump is anti-our allies and pro-Russia?

                  - Please explain the "anti-our allies" bit and if you think he's pro-Russia because he didn't call out Putin, a nuclear threat, on world TV then there's nothing I'll be able to say that will make you understand why he didn't.

I think the fact that Trump still denies climate change and is even promoting policies that further it a long is more important than any list anyone can create, pro or con.

                  - You obviously feel very strong about climate change and honestly I completely understand why this causes a lot of your disdain with Trump. He's a businessman and was able to see why most of our dealings to combat climate change were not good for the economy as a whole. I'm not a climate change denier but there is a lot of hypocrisy surrounding it and feel like this a whole other topic of conversation and frankly not one I'm educated enough on to have.

Re: TRUMP - Pros & Cons

I don’t think Trump wants it exactly but I do think he is a divisive character by nature. I don’t think he’s all bad for the US but this gov’t shutdown fiasco with the border wall is a bit immature. Financially my family is doing well since Trump, notably. Personally I do t let any politician divide me from anyone - that’s a game I don’t play, but many do.
